Entry requirements
A completed Bachelor's degree in Molecular Sciences or related area.
Your degree has to be equivalent to a Dutch university diploma, with an adequate multidisciplinary basis in especially chemistry and biology and some physics and mathematics. The Examination Board will determine if an international student has the required knowledge to be admitted. The Examination Board will also indicate if the student is required to follow specific courses from the Bachelor's programme to eliminate possible deficiencies.
A proficiency in English
In order to take part in this programme, you need to have fluency in both written and spoken English.This requirement has been satisfied when the student meets the conditions, listed on our website.
A background in research methodology
Our programme is based on research, because we’re an academic university and involved in many international research projects. Therefore, basic research training is required.

Working at the interface of chemistry, biology and medical science
In Nijmegen we offer a multidisciplinary Master's programme in Molecular Sciences. You will dive into all aspects of the synthesis and functioning of molecules; from solid state molecular chemistry to spectroscopy and to the chemical biology that lies at the basis of health and disease. This Master's programme combines theoretical course with extensive research internships in a multidisciplinary environment.
