About St George's, University of London

At St George’s, University of London, we’ve been improving health for over 250 years. As the UK’s specialist health university, we offer a wide array of postgraduate courses across health, medicine and science. From the exploration of genomics and global health challenges to the study of cancer and antimicrobial resistance, our courses provide you with the expertise you need to take the next step in your career.

You will benefit from joining part of a small, close-knit team. This interprofessional learning reflects the multidisciplinary nature of delivering healthcare today.

St George’s has a long and illustrious history dating back to 1733. From the early days our alumni have included healthcare pioneers like Edward Jenner, whose groundbreaking work contributed to the eradication of smallpox, and Henry Gray, who published the medical textbook Gray’s Anatomy; to more recent alumni such as Sir Patrick Vallance, Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government of the United Kingdom and Professor Hannah Valantine (MBBS), first Chief Officer for Scientific Workforce Diversity at the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC.
