The 2016 FNF Campus Tour continued Sept. 30 with a stop at Largo High for a game against Boca Ciega. Each stop of the FNF Campus Tour includes two parts:
- A representative from FNF and multiple recruiters from the US Army host a luncheon for teachers and administrators.
- FNF and the US Army host an informational tent with giveaways inside the stadium during the Friday night football action.
FNF Magazine partners with the US Army each fall for the FNF Campus Tour. The goal of each tour stop is to share the benefits of the US Army’s March 2 Success program — a program geared toward improving students’ test-taking and study skills.
FNF Magazine and the US Army arrived at Largo High on the morning of Sept. 30 for the luncheon with teachers and administrators. Sgt. Bardell and Sgt. Peterson delivered a presentation on the March 2 Success program to the 45 educators in attendance. FNF provided Subway subs, chips, drinks and dessert for the attendees.
FNF and the US Army recruiters returned for the rivalry game that evening, and set up a tent, table and inflatables for fans to enjoy. Fans at the game enjoyed all of the give-aways, which included t-shirts, water bottles and other swag. Largo High student Angel Velez collected the grand-prize giveaway — a US Army swag bag.
Boca Ciega picked up a road victory — 26-6 over host Largo. The Largo High stop was the third of four Campus Tour stops this fall. The others include:
Clearwater High — Sept. 16
Boca Ciega — Sept. 23
Dixie Hollins — Oct. 7
