Hey, we’re BUNAC. Saving summers from ‘meh’ jobs at home since 1972, we’re the Summer Camp USA experts.

Started in the 1960’s with mullets and a mission, our student founders knew that crossing borders had the power to break down boundaries and build cultural connections. (They were also British, so understood that staying in the UK for the summer was meteorologically dicey). So, they chartered a plane, got a gang together, and started running cultural exchanges to the USA. Ten years later, we officially launched our Summer Camp USA program.

Why the history lesson? Because 60+ years on and our mission has never been more important. As well as being the funnest thing you can do with your summer, working at camp is also one of the most impactful. You’ll get to live in incredible locations, make friends from all over the world, and help to shape the lives of young people. And because we donate 5% of profits to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can also travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.
