Audit & Assurance Placement

Job description

We are actively looking for a talented 2nd year university student studying Accounting & Finance who is passionate and would like to be our new placement student for a year in one of our offices listed on the advert. The placement will be for 12 months and starts in the summer of 2025.

The Placement Programme
During the 12-month University placement you will have the opportunity to explore Audit. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who would like to start their professional career at a dynamic and relationship-driven firm that is dedicated to helping grow their clients’ businesses through innovative solutions and services.

The placement programme will give you the opportunity to learn about Audit with the long-term aspiration to enable you to decide if this is the field you would like to start a graduate career in. At the end of the programme both you and Menzies LLP will decide on whether a place on the Graduate Programme is going to happen. If the decision is made to progress, then you will be given a choice of going onto either the Menzies ATT/CTA or ACA Graduate Trainee programme.

What we are looking for

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy a challenge and we welcome applicants who are on course to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline. It’s important that students can grasp new subjects quickly. You don’t have to be a maths genius but it’s important you are confident with numbers and have good attention to detail. You’ll often need to explain complex financial information, so you’ll also need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
