In return you will experience a range of Health and Care services in your host Region, as well as gaining an introduction to the role of a manager across the service. You will work in real management placements giving you an opportunity to build your knowledge and skills in this complex environment.
Additional benefits
Fully-funded general management training programme leading to relevant masters or post-graduate qualification in health-care management. Placements across NHS Scotland's three regions that include 14 regional health boards, seven special boards, and a public health body. The development support includes leadership development by NHS Scotland experts, and individual coaching and mentoring.
What we are looking for
We would love to hear from applicants who:
- are qualified to Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) level 10 (equivalent of honours degree) in any subject area, or expect to be by 1 September 2025;
- have (or will have by 1 September 2025) the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the Scheme.
