English language support
For students whose level of English does not meet the entry requirements for their course, they can attend an English language course at the Brunel University of London Language Centre. The Centre supports students before and during their studies. The English language requirements differ according to specific courses.
To help students meet their entry requirements, Brunel runs pre-sessional English courses lasting from 6–50 weeks. For more information (including start dates for pre-sessional English, fees and how to apply), students can visit the Brunel University of London Language Centre.
The University also offers free support with academic English to all students whose first language is not English.
Facilities and support arrangements
Brunel has world-class teaching and learning facilities including state-of-the-art laboratories, clinical practice rooms, drama and performance studios, a visual effects studio/green room and impressive sports facilities, including an indoor athletics centre.
Postgraduate students have a dedicated study area in the library which is usually open 24/7 during term-time.
Support is available for mental health issues, faith and religion, as well as for students with disabilities. Brunel’s campus and facilities are recognised as some of the best in the country for disabled students.
Fees, funding and costs
