Brandon vs. Plant City
September 11, 2015
The Friday Night Football Florida Magazine Campus Tour kicked off its 2015 schedule in grand fashion with a visit to Brandon High (FL) on Sept. 10 and 11.
FNF Magazine and the U.S. Army hosted a luncheon for teachers and administrators on September 10 — one day before the Brandon High football team hosted Plant City for its home-opener. During the fun-filled luncheon, recruiters from the U.S. Army spoke with educators about the March 2 Success program. FNF Magazine provided Subway subs, chips, drinks and desserts for the educators.
FNF Magazine and the U.S. Army made a successful return to Brandon Sept. 11 for the team’s home-opener against Plant City. With 1,000 spectators in attendance, recruiters from the U.S. Army offered fans a variety of give-aways including water bottles, tee-shirts, lanyards and a set of head phones. High school students from both schools took part in pull-up competitions before learning more about the March 2 Success program.
Plant City emerged with a 21-13 victory. The next stop of the FNF Campus Tour will be Sept. 18 at Alonso for a game against Manatee.
