Milwaukee sets out to work side by side with end users to deliver disruptive innovation – getting out on the job site along with trade professionals to understand their needs and limitations.
We rethink solutions and whether it’s bringing cordless power to traditionally corded or petrol products and manual activities, or advances to fundamental tools and equipment, Milwaukee’s focus is on working directly with users to help improve their productivity and safety.
Ryobi
RYOBI continues to innovate and lead the way as the number 1 DIY tool brand on the planet.
As one of the largest and most innovative power tool manufacturers in the world, we are dedicated to delivering outstanding performance and reliability.
We have built a solid and enviable reputation by developing a real knowledge of exactly what people need from their power tools, so that individuals can work more efficiently, more safely and more comfortably in their homes and gardens.

What we offer
Enjoy challenging experiences, vast opportunities and first-class training.
Our Field Marketing Executive role (FME) is designed to develop our own internal talent by providing a range of valuable business skills. These include gaining a greater understanding of our customers, our business processes and our products.
Our training programme is comprehensive and structured, with the aim of making individuals feel truly knowledgeable and confident to move to the next opportunity.
Many of our recruits have achieved remarkable success and career progression in a short time and we are proud to genuinely promote on merit, performance and business opportunity.
We look for graduates, ideally with business and engineering degrees, with or without experience of our industry, who relish the responsibility and autonomy to organise and manage their own territory. Individuals will gain full training and support and be exposed to a range of product categories.
No day is the same and in harnessing the popularity of the Milwaukee brand, FME’s will take the opportunity to foster relationships, grow sales, educate stakeholders, conduct hands-on demonstrations, merchandise, support major events/conferences and develop positive brand awareness.
Our FMEs learn the grass roots of our Milwaukee business and get under the skin of our brand, but always with the support of a large team. Just imagine how much can be learnt from this wide and diverse group – not to mention the camaraderie and cohesion.
Application Procedure
The first stage is to complete a screening form and to answer some key questions (typically about skills and experiences) and upload a CV.
Those who meet our criteria at this stage will be asked to complete a video interview and if successful, to attend a one-and-a-half-day face to face Assessment Centre. We have received some excellent feedback about our centres.
In advance of the centre, candidates will have the opportunity to ask any questions at a one-hour, virtual, question and answer session. All of our applicants are treated as individuals, and we pride ourselves on regular and frequent communication.
"The assessment centre is one of the best things I have ever participated in. It was eye opening to the full potential of the organisation"
"A 5* Assessment Centre, I really enjoyed myself"

At TTi, employee safety and wellbeing are a priority and we work hard to foster a healthy and fulfilling environment for all members of our team.
We offer our employees a number of resources to support health and wellbeing on a daily basis and these range from a gym allowance, a wellbeing room in our UK Head Office, leave of absence to support wellbeing and a number of trained mental health first aiders.
We also place a great deal of value on social events, team parties and the friendship and camaraderie that is built in such a wide and inclusive team.
FAQs
What degree do I need?
We are looking for graduates with a 2:2 degree or above (ideally in a business or engineering related subject).
I do not have much knowledge of the industry - should I still apply?
If you have knowledge of our industry and what we do or have any trade experience, that's great, but we also strongly encourage those who are practically minded with a can-do attitude and want to develop sales and marketing skills to apply. We are looking to build a diverse group of graduates with a range of transferable skills who are keen to develop a long-term sales and marketing career and grasp any potential leadership opportunities.
What skills are you looking for?
You will need to be a confident/influential communicator, who has a positive, can-do attitude with a drive/resilience to achieve results. We value your flexibility and ability to thrive and make decisions in a multi-functional team. You will be representing our brands across different channels and as such, building relationships with our customers, suppliers and trade channels, generating sales and demonstrating our products. You will need to have an organised approach to structuring your day and your appointments. You will work independently but will be very much part of a wider team. You will take a pride in your work and our brand.
Will I receive feedback if my application is unsuccessful?
If you attend one of our assessment centres, then if requested, we will provide you with feedback which we hope you will find useful. Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback if your application is unsuccessful at the earlier stages.
Where will I be based?
Roles are territory-based and we will ask you to apply for a specific location(s). You will be expected to travel within your region most days, for which a branded company van and fuel card will be provided. Your home will be your administrative base.
How long will I spend in the FME role?
We would expect that you would spend an average of 18/24 months in the role, which provides the opportunity to really learn our business. This pivotal role requires visits to customers, clients and sites in one of our branded vans and we genuinely believe that this is the best way to develop the core skills needed to progress a career and to really get under the skin of the Milwaukee brand.
When and how will I be promoted?
Promotion is based on performance, merit and business opportunity after an average of 18/24 months in the role. Positions are advertised internally, providing opportunities for all employees to apply. During our structured training programme and meetings with a supervisor, skills are enhanced and fine-tuned. Next stage roles include joining our Job Site Solutions team, our Area Sales team or taking a role with National Accounts or a supervisory position.
What training will I receive?
Soon after joining, you will attend one of our training centres where you will be given an in-depth knowledge of our products. Whatever level of prior awareness you have, you will soon start to become an expert with our products. This hands-on product knowledge will be combined with a structured training programme which will focus on building personal skills and career development.
Throughout the training, there will be support and guidance from a supervisor and the wider team.
