About Ten10

Ten10 utilises your aptitude for technology, teaches you the knowledge and skills you need to succeed and propels you into a successful Tech career.

We are an established, rapidly growing, and award-winning Technology Consultancy, our goal is to make a real impact on improving diversity within the tech industry and offer fast-tracked career opportunities to people from all backgrounds and experience levels; our Tech Academy is the driving force behind this.

The Academy

The award-winning Academy offers a structured path into the Tech industry, we welcome candidates from any educational/employment background and guarantee success.

The programme offers 7-12 weeks of comprehensive training delivered by our brilliant training team (all of whom are Ten10 Consultants themselves, so you’re learning from people who have actually done the job themselves and can offer practical real-life insights); following this there is the opportunity to complete various industry certifications and exams- all funded for by Ten10 and supported by the wide network of mentors within the organisation. Once you’ve completed your training, you will be placed with one of our leading clients, embedded in a supportive and collaborative team, we pick placements based on the natural aptitudes and skills you showed in training, what you’re interested in and enjoying and on a strong fit between your personality and the client’s company culture, values and progression paths. Many of our Academy Consultants will receive a permanent offer of employment from their client, while others may choose to stay with Ten10 and continue to thrive on one of our Consulting career pathways.

Academy Training includes the following:

  • Software Testing
  • DevOps
  • Programming
  • Business Analysis
  • Software Development
  • Robotic Process Automation
  • Cloud Computing Engineering
  • Project Management

We’re not looking for a specific type of person, but instead, passionate and hardworking people who have an interest in Tech and would like to explore the opportunities available. Whether you’re interested in Business and like to organise and problem-solve, or a real natural techy keen to develop software solutions for world class organisations, or somewhere in between looking to combine creativity with detail – we have a place for you.

Joining Ten10

We welcome applications from all academic and employment backgrounds, you don’t need to have any prior experience in IT as we will provide you with all of the training and support you need to succeed in your new career.

You’ll need to complete an online application and if successful, you’ll be invited to a telephone interview; during which, our talent team will talk you through all of the details of The Academy and answer all of your questions. Next, you’ll complete an online test to assess where your natural aptitudes for Tech currently lie and finally, you’ll be invited to an assessment centre, where you’ll meet the Wellbeing Team, Training Team and a variety of Ten10 Consultants.

Supporting you in your career

Starting any new job can be daunting, especially if the industry is totally new to you. At Ten10, we want to help you transition into your new role, and we have a team in place whose priority is just that! The Academy Wellbeing Team are focused entirely on YOU, we run a number of programmes and initiatives to support you, your progression, ensure you’re confident and comfortable in everything you’re doing at work and ultimately, ensuring that you know how valued you are.

Wellbeing Programme

Each member of our wellbeing team are qualified mental health first aid champions, this means that they are trained to assist with any mental health challenges that you may be facing and are armed with fantastic resources to support you and have the knowledge to signpost you to professional support if required.

Mentoring

At Ten10 we run an optional, (but heavily subscribed) mentor programme, where we encourage academy members in year 2 to support and buddy up with members in their first year. You can select your own mentor based on their skills & interests summary and reach out to them with questions about your code or work, or just general day to day support.

Contactable, always

We have a variety of touch points each month, through 121’s, drop ins, socials or the phone number of every Wellbeing Team member – who is always available for a call or text. During any of these touch points, you can come to us with any questions, concerns, or for a personal catch up. We also run a collaborative and supportive academy representatives committee so you can raise anything you wish to on a peer level too.

Social Events

The Academy Wellbeing Team organises regular social events across the UK, this is an opportunity to meet up with your colleagues and build your support network. Recent socials include: laser quest, bowling, electronic darts, crazy golf, virtual horse racing and cocktail/mocktail making.
